POS Default Ship Date
Pre-fills the Ship Later date on every POS payment screen with today's date. Cashiers can still override it, but for the 99% of orders that ship same day it just works - no extra tap, no extra thought.
Auto-Fills Ship Later Date
The Ship Later field on the POS Payment Screen is pre-set to today's date the moment the screen opens. No empty calendar to click.
Saves a Tap on Every Order
Cashiers stop tapping the calendar widget hundreds of times a day. The cumulative time saved across a busy shift is real.
Date Flows to Delivery Order
The pre-filled date carries through to the resulting picking as the Scheduled Date and Deadline, so warehouse staff see a real ship date right away.
Zero Configuration
Install the module and every POS session picks up the behaviour automatically. No settings, no menus, no per-session toggles.
Manual Override Still Works
The Ship Later field stays fully editable. If a customer wants a specific future date, the cashier can pick it just like before.

Compatibility Notice
This module is tested and certified to work with the vanilla (standard, unmodified) edition of Odoo Community and Enterprise. It depends on the standard Point of Sale module.
If your Point of Sale module or related POS add-ons (such as third-party POS payment screens, custom Ship Later workflows, or alternate POS UI themes) have been modified by another developer, behavior is not guaranteed.
