As of today's many people are travelling from one place to other and carring various currency with them. By default, Odoo does not support multi-currency payments. However, our module introduces essential functionality for POS multi-currency payments. Upon installation of this application, customers will have the ability to view the currency conversion for the total amount, along with detailed information about payments made in different currencies. This feature enables customers to complete transactions in their preferred currency.
As a result, this module enhances the transaction process, providing increased convenience and flexibility for customers to pay in the currency of their choice.
Note : This accounting journal entry will not specify a currency; it will be recorded in your main company currency.

Payment Methods
Menu sequence : Settings >> Point Of Sale >> Payment
The available payment methods for customer transactions can be reviewed.
This ensures that customers can choose their preferred payment option.
Add the Required Currencies
Menu sequence : Settings >> Point Of Sale >> Multiple Currency Payment
Click on the currencies below the multi-currency field. Customers can activate any currency, which will subsequently be configurable as a selective option in the Multiple Currency Payment configuration.
Automatic Currency Rates
Menu sequence : Accounting >> Configuration >> Settings
Enable on Automatic Currency Rates For Live Currency Configuration
Note : This functionality is available only in the Odoo Enterprise Edition and is not provided in the Odoo Community Edition.

Customers should select their desired product. After selecting, click on the "Payment" option and then choose "Multi-Currency". A multi-currency button has been added next to the Invoice button; please click on it to open the multi-currency popup. This popup will allow you to select the currency and payment method according to your preference. You can make the same payment using different currencies and methods. Once done, please confirm the payment.
It also provides options for partial payment.

Enter the amount in the input field and click the "Confirm" button to create payment lines.
To process the same payment transaction using different currencies and methods, you will need to access the Multi-Currency button. You can also make the remaining payment using a different currency and method. Once completed, after click on "validate" button.
Payment lines are displayed with the corresponding amounts paid in the specified currency.
The backend displays the amount paid for the order in the specified currency.
Our module now supports Odoo 19's one-click payment feature. Upon selecting a payment method from the Point of Sale screen, a multi-currency wizard will appear. This allows the user to select their desired currency and process the full payment in a single step.
Please Note that this feature does not support partial payments.

No, this module enables the user to make payments using both cash and bank methods in multiple currencies.
Can user be able to convert in all Odoo standard currencies?
No, this module only allows the currency conversion only on the Selected currencies in the configuration.
Does this module shows the values in different currencies on product screen?
No, this module only allows payment in various currencies.
Does this module provides the functionality to automatically change the currency rate?
Yes, you can easily see the currency rate of any currency on POS screen.
The Information of amount paid in multi-currency is displayed on receipt?
Yes, it will show all the information on the receipt.
