Intelligent inactivity detection designed for busy retail environments
Configurable Timeout
Set the inactivity timeout in minutes directly from POS Settings. Each POS config can have its own timeout value.
Smart Activity Detection
Monitors mouse, keyboard, and touch events. The timer resets with any user interaction — no false logouts during active use.
Graceful Logout
When the timer expires, the cashier is returned to the login screen. No data is lost — the session remains open for re-login.
How It Works

Install & Configure
Install the module from Odoo Apps. Go to POS Settings and set your desired Auto Logout Timeout in minutes.
Cashier Starts Working
The cashier logs in and uses the POS normally. The module silently monitors user activity in the background.
Auto Logout on Idle
If no activity is detected for the configured duration, the cashier is automatically logged out to the POS login screen.
