Timesheet Grid View CE brings the familiar spreadsheet-like Grid view to Odoo 19 Community timesheets. Employees enter their hours directly in the cells, grouped by Project and Task, and switch instantly between Day, Week, Month, Quarter and Year ranges. It relies exclusively on native Community components — no Enterprise dependency, no hidden subscription. Column totals, row totals and a bar chart are all included out of the box.

Key Highlights
5 Time Ranges
Switch between Day, Week, Month, Quarter and Year with a single click or a keyboard hotkey (d / w / m / q / y). Previous, Today and Next navigate the selected period.
Inline Cell Editing
Type hours straight into any cell. The grid computes a smart delta and updates, creates or reduces the underlying timesheet records automatically — no form round-trip needed.
Project & Task Grouping
Projects appear as sections, tasks as rows. A dedicated managerial view adds the Employee level for a complete team overview.
HH:MM Hours & Totals
Time is shown with the float_time widget in a clean HH:MM format, with automatic column and row totals and a bar chart of the period.
Employee Filter Pills
Timesheet managers get a quick employee pill bar to focus the grid on a single person, plus a weekend show / hide toggle and an Add a Line dialog.
100% Community
Built entirely on native Community components — no Enterprise modules, no subscription. Fully compatible with the standard search panel filters and group-by.
How It Works
Two ready-to-use views, wired into the standard Timesheets menus.
My Timesheets › Grid
A new Grid tab is added to Timesheets › My Timesheets, with your projects as sections and your tasks as rows. Enter your hours for the current week and move across periods without leaving the screen. Available to every user in the Timesheets / User group.
All Timesheets › Managerial Grid
The All Timesheets action gets a Grid view that adds the Employee dimension — Project › Employee › Task — so managers can review and adjust the whole team's logged time, with the employee pill bar to zoom in on one person.
Add a Line
Prefer a form? The Add a Line button opens a compact dialog to pick the Project, Task, Date, hours (validated against a 24h/day guard) and an optional description. The record is created and instantly appears in the grid.
