How to access from Airtable account
- Sign in to your Airtable Developer Account by logging in to www.airtable.com/ and hover on the Profile icon as highlighted in the screenshot
- Now click on Builder Hub
- Click on Create token
- Give your token a name.Now, add the access scope and resources to your token to ensure bug-free data migration.
- Once, you have added the scopes, click on Create token.
- You should see a token on your screen. Save it somewhere safe as it won't be visible again.
Airtable User Guide
- Go to Settings in Odoo. Click on Airtable. Enter your AirtablePersonal Access Token and click "Test and Save" Button.
- You can also authenticate using OAuth by providing a Client ID and Client Secret. Both OAuth and Personal Access Tokens can be used for authentication with Odoo. However, we recommend using a Personal Access Token, as it does not require refreshing the access token every 60 minutes, making the integration more convenient and reliable.
- Once, you are authenticated, go to Airtable in Odoo and click New
- Make sure to fill these fields as highlighted.The following screenshot highlights how to retrieve Base ID and Table ID.
- Odoo Model refers to the model where the records will be created. For our example, it is Contacts for this example. Lastly, you can set Direction of Sync (Airtable to Odoo, Odoo to Airtable, Both)
- Open the desired workspace's table and look for the table id and based id in the url. The format would be like this: https://airtable.com/{base it}/{table id}/{view id}
- Ignore View ID as we don't want it for our sync. Copy the base id and table id and paste in the Odoo form
- Click on Fetch Names at the top of the screen.
- Once, the names are fetched, click on Load Airtable Fields..
- Now, you can see the all the columns from Airtable are fetched on the left side of the table as AirTable Fields
- Now, to map it to the relevant Odoo column, you have to click on the row below the Odoo field column and select the required field. For better understanding refer to the demo video.
- You can see that all the fields are mapped in the screenshot. If you don't want to sync a field in Odoo, you can remove by the trash icon at the right of the row but don't leave it blank.
- Lastly, click on Sync Now button at the top of the screen and wait for the record to be synced. Once synced, you can go to the relevant app in Odoo to look for result. In our case, it is Contacts.

Is this app compatible with Odoo Enterprise as well as Community?
Yes, the app works perfectly well with Odoo Enterprise (On-premise and Odoo.sh) as well as Community. Odoo Online (Cloud) does not allow installation of third-party apps, so this app cannot be installed on Odoo Online.
