⚙️ Configuration Steps

Install the Module
Go to Apps → Search "Local Delivery Zones (Radius-Based Charges)" → Install
Requires the standard Delivery, Geolocation and eCommerce apps (installed automatically as dependencies).

Set Up Your Origin Address
  • Make sure your Company address (Settings → Companies) has a complete Street, City, State, Zip and Country
  • Open the corresponding contact in Contacts, go to the Partner Assignment tab and click "Compute based on address" to fetch its GPS coordinates
  • Want a different starting point (e.g. a separate warehouse)? Geocode that contact instead and select it as "Delivery From" in step 4

Create the Delivery Method
  • Go to Inventory → Configuration → Delivery Methods → New
  • Set Provider to "Local Delivery (Radius-based)"
  • Set the Name, Delivery Product, and (if selling online) enable Website Published

Configure Your Zones
  • Open the "Local Delivery Zones" tab on the delivery method
  • Optionally set "Delivery From" to a specific geocoded contact (leave empty to use your company address)
  • Add zone rows: e.g. "0-5 km" → up to 5 km → ₹30, "5-10 km" → up to 10 km → ₹60, etc.
  • Zones are matched by the smallest "Up To Distance" that covers the customer's actual distance

That's It — Checkout Does the Rest
When a customer selects this delivery method at checkout, the module geocodes their shipping address (if needed), calculates the distance from your origin, and applies the matching zone's price automatically.
If the customer is farther than your largest configured zone, they'll see a friendly "outside our local delivery area" message instead of a price.
