Configuration
- At least one printer must be configured on the user's system.
- The printer should be accessible from the browser/system where Odoo is being used.
How to Enable
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Direct Print settings.
- Enable the checkbox: Direct Print Preview.
Printer Configuration
Navigate to Configuration → Direct Print → Printer Configuration to manage printers.
Available Fields:
- Name Display name for the printer record.
- Printer Name System printer identifier.
- User Assign the printer to a specific user.
- Default Printer Mark as the default printer for the assigned user.
How It Works
Activate Direct Print Preview from Odoo Settings to intercept PDF report actions.
Set up printer records with user assignments and default printer preferences.
Click Print on any PDF report a preview dialog opens with the generated document.
Send the document to your configured printer or use the browser print dialog instantly.
Accounting Reports Support
