ROLLBACK-SAFE BY DESIGN
Your biggest fear with any access-rights app is breaking production. Security Studio cannot.
Standard Odoo group rights are never rewritten. Studio rights are strictly additive supplements.
Stock record rules stay read-only. You can only edit rules that Studio itself created.
Delete a role → everything rolls back. Its ACLs, Studio rules and app caps disappear with it.
Nothing to undo by hand. Because the standard setup was never modified, it is always your fallback. Safe go-lives, easy audits.

FAQ
Will it break my existing access rights?
No. Studio never rewrites standard Odoo groups or stock record rules — it only adds its own supplementary rights on top.
How do I roll back a role I no longer want?
Delete the role in Studio: its ACLs, Studio-owned record rules and app caps are purged and members are detached in one step. Your standard Odoo configuration is untouched, because Studio never wrote to it in the first place.
Does it work on Odoo Community?
Yes — Community, Enterprise, Odoo Online, Odoo.sh and On-Premise. It depends only on base and web.
Can I edit standard Odoo record rules with it?
You can see them on the canvas, but stock rules stay read-only on purpose. You edit only the rules Studio owns — that is what makes rollback safe.
Do I need developer mode or XML knowledge?
No. Roles, per-model ACLs and record-rule domains are all built visually.
