Amazon / Walmart / Shopify US Sales & Tax Sync (BYOK) — import marketplace orders and facilitator tax, map them to invoices and separate facilitator-collected from self-collected tax
Key Features
Walmart and Shopify US orders straight into Odoo
Walmart and Shopify US orders straight into Odoo — with the tax the marketplace already reported — then maps each order to a customer invoice and, crucially, separates marketplace-facilitator tax from tax you still have to collect and remit
Three marketplaces, one connector (BYOK)
Three marketplaces, one connector (BYOK) — connect Amazon SP-API, Walmart Marketplace and Shopify Admin with your own credentials and import from all of them into a single order inbox.
One-click order import
One-click order import — pull orders for a date range on demand from the import wizard, or let the scheduled job sync new orders automatically.
Marketplace-facilitator awareness
Marketplace-facilitator awareness — every tax line is classified as facilitator-collected or self-collected using the marketplace's own flag plus your configured facilitator states, so remittance stays correct.
Facilitator vs self-collected split on the invoice
Facilitator vs self-collected split on the invoice — only tax you are actually responsible for is booked as a tax line; facilitator tax is retained as informational and reconciled separately.
Order-to-invoice mapping
Order-to-invoice mapping — turn any imported order into a posted-ready customer invoice, creating the customer and matching products by SKU on the way.
Per-jurisdiction tax breakdown
Per-jurisdiction tax breakdown — state, county, city and special-district amounts and rates are stored per order for audit and filing.
Provider-agnostic request builder & response parser
Provider-agnostic request builder & response parser — one normalized order document is produced from each marketplace's very different payload shape, so downstream logic never cares which channel an order came from.
One-click connection test
One-click connection test — verify each marketplace credential set against the live endpoint before you run a real import.
Duplicate-safe imports
Duplicate-safe imports — orders are keyed by marketplace and external order reference, so re-running an import never creates duplicates.
Scheduled auto-sync
Scheduled auto-sync — a cron pulls new orders per active connection and can optionally auto-create the matching invoices.

Why Choose This Module
Under US marketplace facilitator laws the marketplace collects and remits sales tax on your behalf in most states, but not everywhere and not for every line. Getting that split wrong means either double-remitting tax you never held or under-reporting tax you did. This app reads the facilitator flag the marketplace sends on each tax line, cross-checks it against the jurisdictions you mark as facilitator states, and books only the self-collected portion as a real tax liability on the invoice — while keeping the facilitator portion recorded for reconciliation.
