Why Choose This Module
Why this module Payers who file information returns (1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-K, etc.) must run payee name/TIN combinations against IRS records and, when the IRS issues a CP2100 or CP2100A notice of a name/TIN mismatch, send the payee a B-Notice and start backup withholding if no corrected W-9 comes back in time. Nothing native in Odoo tracks any of this; it lives in inboxes and gets missed, which leads to penalties under IRC Sec. 6721/6722 and unremitted backup withholding under Sec. 3406.
