Google reCAPTCHA v2 & Brute-Force IP Lockdown
Protect your Odoo login, signup, and password reset pages from bots and automated attacks with the industry-standard "I'm not a robot" checkbox, plus intelligent IP-based lockdown that stops brute-force attempts before they succeed.
What is this module all about?
Odoo's public-facing authentication pages - login, registration, and password reset - are constant targets for bots, credential stuffing, and brute-force attacks. This module adds Google reCAPTCHA v2 (the "I'm not a robot" checkbox) to each of these pages, with individual per-page toggles so you enable protection only where you need it.
Alongside CAPTCHA, a built-in Login Lockdown system monitors failed login attempts per IP address and automatically blocks the IP for a configurable period when the threshold is crossed, with inline feedback showing users exactly how many attempts remain before lockout.
BONUS: the module extends the Odoo Website Editor so you can protect any website form (Contact Us, lead capture, custom snippets) with the v2 checkbox via a single toggle - zero code changes needed.
Important: After entering your keys, set the reCAPTCHA v2 Keys in settings to exactly match the key type you selected in Google's admin console. Using the wrong type will break the CAPTCHA on your site.
