🔐 Authentication & Configuration

To configure the Van Mieghem integration, go to:
Odoo → Settings → General Settings → Van Mieghem API section and enter the required credentials.

This configuration must be completed before using any synchronization features.

🔗 Token API URL
Van Mieghem authentication endpoint
 🏷 Client Code
Unique customer identifier provided by Van Mieghem.
👤 Username
Van Mieghem API login username.
 🔑 Password
Secure password used for API authentication.
🪪 API Token
The API token is automatically generated after successful authentication.
Click the “Generate Token” button to generate and store the token in Odoo.

⚡ Token Generation: After entering Client Code, Username, and Password, click the “Generate Token” button. Odoo will automatically request the authentication token from the Van Mieghem API and store it securely.
🔒 Security Note: All credentials are stored securely in Odoo and used only for automated API communication with Van Mieghem.

📦 Product Synchronization (Odoo → Van Mieghem)

This feature enables secure synchronization of product data from Odoo ERP to the Van Mieghem Warehouse System. Once linked, products can be managed directly from Odoo while the warehouse system handles physical stock operations.

🔄 Synchronization Workflow

① Create Product

Create a product inside Odoo with required information:

  • Product Name
  • Internal Reference (SKU) (Must be unique)
  • U2 Quantity Per U1
  • Category:
    • U1 Quantity
    • U3 Quantity Multiplier
  • Sales / Purchase configuration
② Post Product

Click the Post Product button to send the product data to the Van Mieghem warehouse system.

  • Only active products are synchronized
  • Duplicate products are automatically prevented
③ Automatic Linking

Once the product is successfully created in Van Mieghem, the system automatically links the product with Odoo.

  • Van Mieghem Product ID is stored in Odoo
  • Saved in field: Uniq Product In Van Mieghem Ref
④ Manage & Sync

After linking, the product becomes fully integrated with the warehouse system.

  • Update product information from Odoo
  • Retrieve inventory availability from Van Mieghem
  • Maintain synchronized product data

✔ Only active products are synchronized ✔ Internal Reference (SKU) must be unique
✔ Linked products will not be duplicated ✔ Van Mieghem ID stored in Uniq Product In Van Mieghem Ref

🧾 Automatic Purchase Receipt from Warehouse

This feature integrates Odoo with the Van Mieghem Warehouse System to automate the purchase receiving process. Once enabled, warehouse confirmations automatically validate receipts inside Odoo.

🔄 Workflow

Step 1 — Confirm Purchase Order
The user confirms a purchase order inside Odoo.

Step 2 — Receipt Created
Odoo automatically generates the incoming receipt.

Step 3 — Send to Warehouse
Click the "Send to Van Mieghem" button to transmit the receipt.

Step 4 — Warehouse Processing
Van Mieghem warehouse receives and processes the goods.

Step 5 — Automatic Validation
Once confirmed by the warehouse, Odoo automatically validates the receipt.
