Sales Commission — the complete lifecycle

Range-band or progressive tiers, paid-invoice commissions, settlement, disputes and team override

A full sales-rep commission engine for Odoo 19 Community — an Enterprise-style sale.commission replacement that industry packs and Studio fields can anchor on. Configure plans, accrue on posted invoices, pay on collected cash, settle in batches and keep reps, team leads and managers in the loop — with a full audit trail.

Standalone — no payroll module required

Commission is configured, computed, settled and audited entirely within this app. No payroll dependency is forced on your database, and nothing here needs one.

Payroll handoff is optional and conditional. Where a payroll module is installed, an approved settlement can write a COMM payslip input per eligible rep; with no payroll installed, “Post to Payroll” simply stays dormant and everything else works unchanged. Payroll engines differ, so writing that input is not by itself proof that a given payroll turns it into payslip earnings, statutory deductions, net pay and accounting — only rely on the handoff against a payroll validated end-to-end. This app does not claim any country payroll as supported. If you need commission delivered into a specific payroll, talk to us first.

Plans, Targets & Tiers

  • Rep, team or company-default commission plans
  • Range Band — the achieved band sets one rate for the whole base
  • Marginal / Progressive — each band's rate applies only to its slice, like tax brackets, with an auditable per-band breakdown
  • Payment Qualification — pay proportionally as cash arrives, or only once an invoice is fully paid
  • Monthly / quarterly / yearly target periods with achievement
  • Product, category and customer base exclusions
  • New-customer and strategic-product bonus rules
  • Team override pays a manager on the same source period

Accrue, Pay & Settle

  • Accrue on posted invoices; pay on collected cash
  • Refunds claw back exactly — progressive plans re-slice the tiers on net paid sales, and a refund against a locked period posts a true-up in the next open one
  • Settlement batches with a draft → approve → post → paid workflow
  • Manager adjustments and rep disputes — audited and controlled
  • Rep self-service portal, dashboards, pivots and a what-if simulator
  • Multi-company record rules for rep, team-lead and manager access

From order to payout, in four steps

1. Plan

Choose range-band or progressive tiers, set targets, exclusions and bonus rules per rep, team or company.

2. Accrue

Posted invoices accrue commission; collected payments make it payable — proportionally, or only once fully paid. Refunds claw back exactly.

3. Settle

Roll eligible lines into a settlement batch, net per rep, and run it through approval.

4. Pay

Settle the approved batch. Optionally hand off to a validated payroll as a COMM payslip input — or export for manual payout.
