Business Overview

In many real-world procurement scenarios, Purchase Orders contain multiple product lines with varying quantities. While Odoo displays quantities at the line level, it does not provide a consolidated Total Quantity summary.

This module fills that gap by automatically calculating and displaying the total quantity across all relevant purchase documents, improving clarity for procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.

Process Flow

1. User creates RFQ or Purchase Order
2. Products and quantities are added
3. Total Quantity is automatically computed
4. Total is shown at document summary level
5. Same value flows through Receipts, Bills, and Reports
