Built around how Walmart Marketplace actually works — multiple markets, dual fulfillment, settlement accounting, and per-SKU feed results.
Four Walmart Marketplaces From One Odoo
Run United States, Canada, Mexico, and Chile from a single Odoo database. Each marketplace is its own instance with its own credentials, currency, and warehouse — and the connector automatically enables only the operations each market actually supports, so you never trip over a capability Walmart doesn't offer there.
Seller-Fulfilled + WFS Side by Side
Handle orders you ship yourself and orders Walmart Fulfillment Services ships for you, on the same account. Each model uses its own warehouse and its own order workflow, so the two streams never mix. WFS orders are marked acknowledged on import, and WFS stock is imported into its own dedicated warehouse.
Settlement Reports Reconciled To Your Bank
Import Walmart settlement reports, post them to a bank statement, and auto-reconcile the lines against your invoices — so you can see exactly what Walmart paid you for. Each Walmart charge type (commission, shipping, fees, refunds) maps to its own Odoo account, keeping your books accurate without manual entry.
Per-SKU Feed Results Down To The Error
Every export to Walmart is submitted as a feed, and the connector tracks each feed to completion — recording the outcome for each individual SKU. When an item fails, you see Walmart's own error code and description on that line, so a partial failure tells you exactly which SKU failed and why instead of failing silently.
Built on the Walmart Marketplace API. Works across the US, Canada, Mexico & Chile marketplaces.
Automate synchronization with per-instance scheduled actions, or run any operation manually from the operations popup whenever needed.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most from Walmart sellers.
Is the connector compatible with Odoo Enterprise and Community editions?
Yes. Fully compatible with Odoo Enterprise (On-premise and Odoo.SH) and Odoo Community. Not compatible with Odoo Online (SaaS) as it doesn't support third-party apps.
Which Walmart marketplaces are supported?
Four marketplaces, each as its own instance:
- United States — the fully-featured marketplace (catalog, product export, settlement, and webhooks are US-only).
- Canada, Mexico, and Chile — orders, inventory, price, tracking, and returns import.
Where do I get my Walmart API credentials?
From Walmart Seller Center → API Key Management, generate your Client ID and Client Secret key pair. Paste them into the instance's Credentials tab. The key pair belongs to a single marketplace, so use the pair for the region selected on the instance.
How do I connect my Walmart account to Odoo?
Go to Marketplaces → Configuration → Instance, click New, pick Walmart, choose the Marketplace Region, paste your Client ID and Client Secret, then run Test Connection followed by Confirm.
Is there a sandbox environment?
Yes — set the instance Environment to Sandbox and use your sandbox key pair. Walmart provides a sandbox for the United States, Mexico, and Chile, but not for Canada.
Can I connect more than one Walmart marketplace?
Yes. Create unlimited Walmart instances — each with its own credentials, region, warehouse, pricelist, order workflow, and scheduled actions. Each instance can also belong to its own company for multi-company setups.
How are Walmart items matched to Odoo products?
By the Sync Listings Based On setting on the instance:
- Barcode — matched on the item's GTIN/UPC.
- SKU — matched on the Odoo internal reference.
- Barcode or SKU — either value is accepted.
Can I export new products to Walmart?
Yes, for the United States marketplace. Export and update listings with their product-type attributes from Odoo. Product export, product types, and specifications are US-only capabilities on Walmart.
What are product types and attribute mapping?
Walmart requires category-specific attributes for listings. The connector imports Walmart product types and their specifications, and lets you map Walmart attributes and allowed values onto your Odoo products, so exported listings carry the values Walmart expects. Available for the United States marketplace.
Are product images imported from Walmart?
No. Walmart's item response does not include product images, so images are not imported. Add them in Odoo — they are then included when you export the listing to Walmart.
Which orders get imported?
Only orders whose current Walmart status is in the Order Status filter on the instance. A new instance has only Created selected, so it imports newly-placed orders until you add more statuses (for example Shipped or Delivered).
How do Seller-Fulfilled and WFS orders differ?
They run side by side, each with its own warehouse and workflow:
- Seller-Fulfilled — you acknowledge, ship, and export tracking yourself.
- WFS — Walmart ships the order; it is marked acknowledged on import and you don't export tracking for it.
- A single Import Orders job covers both fulfillment types. WFS order import is available for the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Can I acknowledge and cancel orders from Odoo?
Yes. Acknowledge Seller-Fulfilled orders manually or automatically on import, and cancel an order in Walmart from Odoo with a cancel reason per line.
How is tracking sent for multi-package shipments?
When an order ships in several deliveries, each validated Delivery Order is exported separately with its own tracking, telling Walmart which items shipped in that package. The order is marked Shipped only once all its deliveries have been exported.
Is inventory sync one-way or two-way?
Seller inventory is bi-directional — export your Odoo stock to Walmart and import stock levels back. WFS inventory is read-only: it is imported into a dedicated warehouse so you can see what Walmart is holding, but you cannot push stock to WFS.
How are prices exported?
Prices are exported from the pricelist configured on the instance, in the marketplace currency. You can optionally export the product's sale price directly instead of the pricelist price.
Does the connector handle returns and refunds?
Yes:
- Return import — available for all four marketplaces, with return lines linked to the original order.
- Issue Refund — push a refund to Walmart and create the matching credit note in Odoo, for the United States and Mexico.
How are returns and refunds handled?
Returns are imported for all four marketplaces on a schedule, each linked to its original order with header and line detail:
- Return import — every marketplace, with return transfers and credit notes created in Odoo.
- Issue Refund — push the refund back to Walmart from the return (United States and Mexico), with the credit note linked automatically.
- Order refunds — push a posted credit note to Walmart from the invoice (United States and Canada), including the shipping charge.
How are WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services) orders handled?
Set the instance's Fulfillment Type to WFS or Both and the connector handles the differences for you:
- WFS orders are imported for the United States, Canada, and Mexico alongside your seller-fulfilled orders.
- They are recorded in their own WFS warehouse and never acknowledged or ship-confirmed — Walmart fulfills them.
- WFS stock on hand is imported into that warehouse for all four marketplaces.
What are settlement reports?
For the United States marketplace, import Walmart settlement reports, post them to a bank statement, and reconcile them against your invoices. Each Walmart charge type (commission, shipping, fees, refunds) maps to its own Odoo account.
What is Walmart Commission?
The referral fee Walmart charges on a sale. It is recorded on the imported order as a seller cost, and appears again as a deduction on the settlement report — so you can see what each sale actually cost you.
Is synchronization automated?
Yes. Each instance gets its own scheduled actions — import orders, import/export inventory, export price, export tracking, import returns, refresh feed status, and (US) import settlement. They are created inactive, so you switch on only the jobs you need. Webhook notifications are also available for the US marketplace.
How do I troubleshoot a failed operation?
Every operation writes to Marketplaces → Queues → Logs at your chosen log level, and imports pass through queues you can inspect and retry. For exports, open the feed to see the per-SKU status with Walmart's own error code and description.
What dependencies does the connector require?
The module depends on Base Marketplace (also by TeqStars, free on Odoo Apps). No additional Python packages or libraries are required beyond a standard Odoo install.
