WAO MRP Status
The WAO MRP Status module brings manufacturing visibility into the sales order screen. Each order line can display color-coded tags for Manufacturing Order (MO) states and a produced quantity total, so sales and planners see production progress without opening Manufacturing.
Key Features
- Status tags on order lines: MRP Status appears as many2many tags with configurable colors aligned to each MO state.
- Produced quantity: MRP Qty sums qty produced across MOs tied to the line.
- MTO-aware: For products with the Make-to-Order route, MOs are resolved by product, sales order reference in the MO origin, and non-cancelled states.
- Multiple MOs: When several MOs exist for a line, all distinct states are shown as tags so mixed progress stays visible.
- No MO clarity: When no applicable MO is found, the line shows a dedicated No MO badge instead of leaving the column empty.
- Configurable labels: Status names, codes, colors, and sequence are maintained on the MRP Status model for easy tuning.
Where It Appears
The fields are added to the sales order form, on each order line (after Subtotal), as optional columns you can show in the line list.
- Open Sales > Orders > Quotations (or Orders) and open a quotation or sales order.
- In the Order Lines tab, enable optional columns if needed to display MRP Status and MRP Qty.
- Confirm or process the order as usual; values are computed from linked manufacturing data.
Prerequisites (Products & Routes)
For MRP Status and MRP Qty to populate from manufacturing, the product should use the Make-to-Order route so MOs are generated and linked in the expected way. Lines for other routings may show No MO when no matching production record is found.
Day-to-Day Workflow
Teams keep working in Sales and Manufacturing as they already do; this module adds read-only insight on the order.
- Sales: Create and confirm a sales order with MTO finished goods.
- Manufacturing: MOs progress through draft, confirmed, progress, done, etc.
- On the SO: Order lines update their status tags and produced quantity as MOs changeâno extra clicks required.
