Product Stock Multi Warehouse Availability
See real-time stock across every warehouse - right inside the Sale Order Product Catalog. Free to Use, Available, and Forecasted quantities per warehouse with a single click. Built for Odoo 19.
When a salesperson opens the Product Catalog from a Sale Order, they can see products and prices - but have no way to know how much stock is available in each warehouse before adding items.
- No per-warehouse stock breakdown - only a single combined number is shown
- Salesperson must leave the catalog and open Inventory just to check stock levels
- No visibility into Free to Use vs. Available vs. Forecasted - reserved stock is invisible
- Multi-warehouse businesses cannot quickly identify which warehouse can fulfil the order
- Orders get confirmed with insufficient stock because reserved quantities are hidden
- Sales teams waste time calling the warehouse to verify availability before committing
This module adds a "Warehouse Stock" button to every product card in the Sale Order Product Catalog. Clicking it opens a clean table showing Free to Use, Available, and Forecasted quantities for every warehouse - with the current Sale Order warehouse highlighted at the top. Stock figures are always current and update instantly.
- Warehouse Stock Button - appears on every storable product card inside the Sale Order Product Catalog
- 4-Column Stock Table - Warehouse | Free to Use | Available | Forecasted, one row per warehouse
- Current Warehouse Highlighted - the Sale Order's warehouse is marked with a "Current" badge and shown first
- Total Stock Row - aggregated totals across all warehouses at the bottom of the table
- Always Up to Date - stock figures are fetched live every time the catalog is opened
- Fast Repeated Clicks - stock data for a product is remembered within the same session for instant re-opens
- Multi-Company Safe - only shows warehouses belonging to the currently active company
- Service Products Excluded - only storable and consumable products show the stock button
- Unit of Measure Shown - all quantities display the product's unit of measure name
- Click-Away to Close - the table closes when clicking elsewhere, keeping the workflow uninterrupted
- No Configuration Needed - install and it works immediately on all Sale Order catalogs
- Odoo 19 Ready - fully compatible with Odoo 19's latest interface and workflows
1. Open a Sale Order and Click "Catalog"
Go to Sales -> Quotations, open any quotation, and click the Catalog link in the order lines footer. The product catalog opens showing all products available to add to the order.
2. Every Product Card Shows a "Warehouse Stock" Button
Each storable product card now displays a Warehouse Stock button below the unit price. Products that don't hold stock (services) are automatically excluded so the button never appears where it isn't relevant.
3. Full Catalog - Warehouse Stock Available on All Products
Browse the full product catalog as normal. Every storable product card carries the Warehouse Stock button. Use the left panel to filter by section or category to narrow down quickly.
4. Click the Button - Instant Multi-Warehouse Stock Table
A clean table appears showing Free to Use, Available, and Forecasted quantities for every warehouse in your company. The Sale Order's own warehouse is marked "Current" and appears at the top. A Total Stock row at the bottom sums all warehouses together.
5. Clear Breakdown - Current Warehouse Highlighted, Totals at Bottom
The "Current" badge instantly identifies the warehouse linked to this Sale Order. Green numbers draw the eye to available stock. The Total Stock row gives an at-a-glance view of combined availability across the entire business.
Multi-Warehouse Businesses
Sales teams instantly see which warehouse has stock available before committing to a delivery - no internal calls or tab-switching needed.
High-Volume Sales Teams
Quickly identify products with sufficient free-to-use stock and avoid quoting quantities that will fail when the order is confirmed.
Demand Planning
The Forecasted column shows incoming stock, letting sales advisors promise future availability to customers with confidence.
Reserved Stock Awareness
Free to Use vs. Available columns expose how much stock is already reserved for other orders - no more inadvertently double-promising inventory.
International Operations
Multi-company environments show only warehouses belonging to the currently active company - no cross-company data visible.
Distributed Sales Teams
Remote salespeople see live stock across all locations without warehouse access - empowering self-service quoting from anywhere.
Fewer Backorders
Real-time stock visibility prevents salespeople from quoting quantities that cannot be fulfilled from the order's warehouse.
Faster Quoting
Check stock across all warehouses without leaving the catalog - no switching between Sales and Inventory modules.
Better Customer Service
Forecasted stock data lets sales advisors give accurate delivery date commitments based on real incoming quantities.
No Extra Steps
Stock data is remembered within the catalog session - checking the same product twice is instant with no waiting.
Step 1 - Open a Sale Order or Quotation
Go to Sales -> Orders -> Quotations. Open any existing quotation or create a new one. Make sure a Warehouse is set - it will be highlighted in the stock table.
Step 2 - Click "Catalog" in the Order Lines
In the Order Lines tab, click the Catalog link in the footer row. The product catalog opens with the Sale Order's warehouse already set as the current warehouse.
Step 3 - Click "Warehouse Stock" on Any Product Card
Every storable product card displays a Warehouse Stock button below the unit price. Click it to open the stock table for that product.
Step 4 - Read the Multi-Warehouse Table
The table shows Free to Use, Available, and Forecasted quantities for each warehouse. The Current badge marks the Sale Order's warehouse. The bottom row totals all warehouses.
Step 5 - Add the Product and Continue
Click anywhere outside to close the table. Then click Add on the card to include the product in the order. Click Back to Quotation when you are done browsing.
What Do the Columns Mean?
- Free to Use - Stock on hand minus quantities already reserved for other orders
- Available - Total quantity physically in the warehouse, including reserved stock
- Forecasted - Projected quantity after accounting for confirmed incoming and outgoing moves
