Code Selection Captcha
Enhance your Odoo login security with an intuitive character-based CAPTCHA. This module adds a modern "I am not a robot" checkbox that triggers a character challenge, preventing automated bots from accessing your system while ensuring a smooth user experience.
Features
1) Install the Module
Go to the Odoo Apps menu and
install the WB Code Captcha
module.
2) Navigate to the Login Page. You will see the new I am not a robot checkbox above the login buttons.
3) Click the checkbox to trigger the CAPTCHA modal. A security canvas with random characters will appear with a task to type the code shown.
4) Enter the correct code into the input field. If you are unsure, use the Refresh button to generate a new security code.
5) After successful verification, you can proceed to log in securely.
The module prevents automated brute-force attacks by requiring a manual character-based challenge to be solved before the login form can be submitted.
Yes, we use a clear 5-character alphanumeric format that is easy for humans to read but difficult for bots to recognize through the canvas noise.
An error message will be displayed, and a new code will be generated automatically for the next attempt.
