Manufacturing Tags
Introduce a flexible, color-coded tagging system for Manufacturing Orders (MOs). This module allows users to categorize, filter, search, and perform bulk tag updates on Manufacturing Orders, ensuring streamlined production tracking and improved organization.
Features
Install the Module
Go to the Odoo Apps menu and
install the Manufacturing Tags
module.
Access Control & Security Settings
Go to Settings -> Users & Companies -> Users, select a user, and 'Enable MRP Mass Tags' to grant permissions to manage tags, configure defaults, and run mass updates.
Create and Manage MRP Tags (Tag Master)
Go to Manufacturing -> Configuration -> MRP Tags to create and edit color-coded tags. You can assign names and choose custom colors for each tag.
Assign Tags on Manufacturing Orders (MO)
Open a Manufacturing Order. assign multiple colored tags using the tags widget. You can select existing tags or create new one.

View assigned tags directly on the Manufacturing Orders list view column.
Mass Tag Update Option
Select multiple Manufacturing Orders from the list view, click on the 'Actions' menu dropdown, and select 'Update Mass Tag'.

In the popup wizard modal, choose the update method ('Add' or 'Replace') and select the tags you wish to assign in bulk.

Search Manufacturing Orders by Tag

Displays the filtered list of Manufacturing Orders matching the selected search tag.
Left Search Panel (Slider) Filter
Easily filter Manufacturing Orders by selecting one or multiple tags in the left sidebar filter panel.
Toggle MRP Tags Column Visibility
Use the Odoo list view's optional fields selector to toggle the column visibility of MRP Tags.
Default MRP Tags Configuration Settings
Select the default tags in the 'Default MRP Tags' configuration settings.
Auto Pre-populated Default Tags on New MO
Displays a newly created Manufacturing Order with default tags automatically pre-populated.
It introduces a flexible, color-coded tagging system for Manufacturing Orders (MOs), enabling managers and operators to categorize, filter, search, and bulk-update production processes efficiently.
Select the desired Manufacturing Orders from the MO list view, click on the "Actions" menu, and choose "Update Mass Tag". In the wizard, select the update method ("Add" or "Replace"), choose the tags, and click "Done".
Yes! Go to Manufacturing -> Configuration -> Settings, select the default tags under the "Default MRP Tags" field, and save. Any new Manufacturing Order created will automatically receive these tags.
You can enable or disable the "Show Tags in List View" option in Manufacturing -> Configuration -> Settings. Alternatively, you can use the Odoo list view's column selector (optional fields) to toggle the column visibility.
Only users belonging to the "Enable MRP Mass Tags" security group can create, edit tags from settings, configure defaults, and perform mass tag updates.
