POS Stock Management
Take full control of your POS inventory visibility with real-time stock badges on every product card. This module shows live stock quantities directly in the POS screen, blocks orders when stock is critically low, and keeps your cashiers informed without ever leaving the register.
Features
1) Install the Module
Go to the Odoo Apps menu,
search for POS Stock Management
and click Activate.
2) Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Settings. Under the Stock Configuration in POS section, you can see the all configuration fields.
3) Enable Display stock in POS field so you can see the stock quantity badge on the product in POS sessions. select Qty on Hand or Qty Available in field Stock Type based on your requirement.
4) Enable Allow POS order when product is out of stock field so you can select that product even if it is out of stock. and if you want to set the quantity limit so you can set it in Deny POS Order When Product Qty goes down to field or set as 0 if you want to. so when stock qty is become what you set in deny order limit field then you can't add this product in order you see the warning.
5) You can also change the background color and font color of the stock badge in pos session using Background Color and Font Color field.
6) You can set position of stock badge on the product card in pos session using Stock Position field. .
7) You can also see Location wise stock if you want to do that so first select Current Session Warehouse so you can see the next field Stock Location in right side here you you can set as per your requirement.
8) Here you can see the particular product's stock qty on POS Shop screen.
9) When you Select the product multiple times it's displey how many times you selected that perticular product in top of the Order line and display the total number of items.
10) in Recipt you can also see the perticular product's which time's you selected and total number of items both in Recipt.
11) In settings field Product low stock here you can set product low stock limit and if the product's stock goes down to this limit then it will be automatically Red Badge and if you click the Low Product Stock List Button in the top screen so you can see list of products which are low in stock .
12) in settings field Deny POS Order When Product Qty is goes down to for Example you set as 0 so in shop when product stock goes to 0 and you click on the product to add it to the order it will alert the user that product is out of stock and user can't add that product to the order.
13) In settings field Dany POs order for example you set as 1 and product's qty is like 5 and you select that product 5th times so you will not able to add that product to the order alert user that product's limit .

Yes. Every POS shop has its own independent configuration â badge color, position, deny limit, stock location, and stock type can all be set per shop.
Yes. For products with multiple variants (e.g., size, color), the badge shows the combined stock of all variants on the template card.
Yes. In POS Settings you can choose between On Hand quantity and Available (Forecasted) quantity, and also select whether to use all warehouses or a specific stock location.
An alert dialog appears immediately blocking the order, showing a clear message that the product is out of stock or the maximum orderable quantity has been reached.
