POS Adyen Payment Method Workflow
- Enable the Adyen Payment Terminal in POS Settings and save the configuration.
- Create a payment method and select Adyen as the payment terminal integration.
- Enter the API Key, Merchant Account, and Client Key to connect the POS with Adyen.
- Add products to the cart and proceed to the payment screen.
- Select Adyen as the payment method to initiate the payment process.

General
Configure Adyen Payment Terminal
Open the POS Settings, enable the Adyen Payment Terminal, and save the configuration. Then open Payment Methods to create and configure an Adyen payment method for processing Point of Sale payments.
Configure Adyen Payment Method
Open the Payment Methods page, select Terminal as the integration type, choose Adyen as the payment terminal, activate the payment method, and click Setup to configure the terminal.
Add Adyen API Credentials
Enter the API Key, Merchant Account, and Client Key, then save the configuration to securely connect the POS with the Adyen payment terminal.
Initiate Adyen Payment
Add products to the cart, proceed to the payment screen, and select Adyen as the payment method. The payment window displays the transaction amount, QR code, and payment link for secure payment.
Complete Payment on Adyen Checkout
Scan the QR code or open the payment link to access the Adyen checkout page, then enter the card details, complete the required authentication, and finish the payment.
POS Order Confirmation
After a successful payment, the customer is redirected to the POS screen, where the order is confirmed automatically and the receipt is generated.
View Adyen Payment Transactions
Open the Payment Transactions page to view all Adyen payment records with the order reference, payment status, transaction ID, and payment amount.
View Adyen Transaction Details
Open a payment transaction record to view the transaction ID, payment method, transaction amount, linked POS order, and transaction details.
Adyen Payments Dashboard
View all Adyen payment transactions in a centralized dashboard with the payment amount, status, payment method, transaction reference, and date.
View POS Order Payment Details
Open a POS order to view the Adyen payment method and transaction reference associated with the order.
