Personal Sync: Calendar & Tasks
Your Odoo meetings, activities and to-dos in the calendar and task apps your team already uses.
Two ways to get work out of the Odoo browser tab and onto a phone or laptop. Both use open standards, so there is no Google or Microsoft account to broker and nothing extra to host. Each user turns them on from their own Preferences, and an administrator can hide the whole feature with a single setting.
Private calendar feed (ICS)
A private, revocable web address that shows a user's meetings, activity due dates, personal to-dos, project deadlines and milestones. Paste it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or Thunderbird and it keeps itself current. It is read only, so the calendar app can never change anything in Odoo.
Two-way CalDAV sync
Each user connects their own iCloud, Nextcloud, Fastmail or Synology account with an app password. Their own events sync both ways. Shared meetings and recurring series are sent to the device but not read back from it, so one phone edit cannot rewrite everyone's calendar.
Clear tasks from your phone
Odoo activities and personal to-dos appear in Apple Reminders, Nextcloud Tasks or Tasks.org. Tick one off there and Odoo marks it done, with the usual chatter note and any follow-up activity. Create a task in the app and it becomes an Odoo to-do.

and dates stay dates, so nothing drifts between timezones. App
passwords are encrypted at rest and feed addresses can be reset in one
click.
