Website Bargaining
Website Bargaining Module enables customers to negotiate product prices directly on your website with a seamless Make an Offer feature. Users can submit their offers, review counteroffers, and track the complete offer history in one place, making the buying experience more interactive and flexible.
To set up the Website Bargaining in Odoo, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Website, In Configuration and open settings.
- Users can configure the number of offer attempts, set rules for offer rejection, and define the validity period for offer payments.
These settings help manage bargaining limits, automatic expiry, and payment deadlines.
Users can enable bargaining for specific products by selecting the Can Be Offer checkbox, ensuring that only marked items are open for offers.
Go to Website, In shop page open can be offer product's shop page and You will see Make Offer Button.
When you click on the Make Offer button, a wizard opens where you can enter your counter offer price and quantity, then click the Review Offer button to proceed.
When you click the Review Offer button, a Review Your Offer wizard appears showing the item price, quantity, and your offered price. From this wizard, you can either click Edit Offer to modify your offer or Send Offer to submit it.
After sending an offer, a confirmation message is displayed and an email notification is sent to the administrator for processing.
On the Admin side, there is an Offers app with an Offers menu that displays all submitted customer offers. Opening an offer shows its details, offer history, and provides actions to Accept, Decline, or Give Offer (counter offer).
The administrator can click Give Offer to open a wizard where they can enter the quantity and offer amount, then click Confirm to send the counter offer.
Users receive the counter offer through email and a notification on the shop page. They can review the offer and either Accept, Reject, or make another counter offer if they still have remaining offer attempts.
By clicking the Offer History button, users can review all previous offers and counter offers.
When the user clicks Send Another Offer, a wizard opens where they can enter a new counter offer.
Once the admin accepts the offer, the system automatically creates a sales order using the final negotiated amount.
If the administrator declines the offer, an email and notification are sent to the user. If the user still has remaining offer attempts, they can submit another offer, otherwise, a wizard is shown informing them that the offer limit has been reached.
