Website Multilingual Media

Language-specific image and video URLs for multilingual Odoo websites.

Dynamically load language-specific media assets according to the visitor's active website language.

How It Works

Use the Website Builder as you normally would simply drag and drop images or videos onto your page. When you select an image or video, a new Translate URLs button will appear, allowing you to quickly update the media links.
Click the Translate URLs button to open the configuration popup. From there, you can define different URLs for each available website language.
For images, when a visitor is viewing the site in English, clicking or hovering over the image will navigate to the English-specific URL.
When the website language is switched (for example, to Slovenian), the image automatically uses the URL configured for that language.
For videos, use the embedded video URL format. This ensures proper loading and seamless language switching.
In video snippets, the URL Translate button lets you assign different video URLs for each language directly from the editor.
Add and manage language-specific video URLs using the popup dialog. Each language can display completely different video content.
When visitors browse the website in English, they will automatically see the video configured for English.
When the website language is switched to Slovenian, the video updates instantly to the Slovenian version.
