Website Quote and Cart (Exclusive)
Website Quote and Cart (Exclusive) module allows a customer to request a quotation. In standard odoo, users can only add the product to a cart but our module allows you to add product from either to the cart or to the quote.
To control the visibility of the Add to Cart button on your website, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Website â Configuration â Settings.
- Locate the option Disable/Enable Add to Cart.
- Use the toggle to enable or disable the Add to Cart option as needed.
On the Website Home Page, an Add to Quote icon is displayed, allowing customers to quickly request a quotation for products directly from the homepage.
The Website Quote and Cart features work exclusively, ensuring that users can either request quotes or add products to the cart.
When the user hovers over a product on the website, both Add to Quote and Add to Cart Same as inside Product's Deatil Page. buttons are displayed. This allows customers to easily choose between adding the product to their quotation list or directly adding it to the shopping cart.
In the My Quote Cart page, the Quote Cart List is displayed, showing all the products that the user has added for quotation.
The Quote Cart Icon also displays the number of products added to the quote cart, providing a quick visual reference of how many items are currently included in the quotation list.
Similar to adding products to the Shopping Cart, when you add products for quotation, you will see both the Quote Cart and the Shopping Cart icons displayed on the website header for easy access.
In the Checkout Quote page, users can review the products added to their quote cart, adjust Delivery Method and Adress, and proceed to submit the quotation request Click On Submit Quote.
After clicking on the Submit Quote button, the customer receives a Thank You message along with a unique Reference Number for their submitted quotation.
By clicking on the Continue Shop button, the customer can return to the shop and continue browsing or adding more products.
Customers can also view the complete quote details by clicking on the My Quote button, which redirects them to their personal quote list page on the website.
In the Requested Quotation section, customers can view all their submitted quotation requests directly from the Customer Portal.
In the Website Requested Quotation section, the quotations requested by customers from the website are displayed in the Quotation stage in the Backend.
