What's Included
Packing Plan Generation
Figures out how many boxes you need and how to optimally pack your products. Generate package recommendations for outgoing transfers using package types, shipment dimensions and product weight.
Packing Algorithms
Best Overall Packing is an operational research algorithm that optimizes across the full transfer. It was assessed against a large benchmark dataset to ensure it always returns the optimal packing solution. Fast Basic Packing provides a quicker fallback method for very large or simple transfers.
Cost-Aware Optimization
Want to keep packaging costs down? When plans use the same number of packages, the module selects the lower-cost option.
Edit Packaging Wizard
The automated recommendation doesn't lock you in. Adjust package assignments, add package lines, rebalance items before final confirmation.
Manual Review Queue
Have products in your database that don't have a proper weight / dimensions? No problem: Items that cannot be assigned automatically are flagged for user review before confirmation.
Plan Summary & Rationale
Why did it split that into two boxes? Each packing plan comes with a rationale summary, including alternate options and algorithm metrics.
Auto-Apply to Detailed Operations
Want more than recommendations? Confirmed plans can optionally write package assignments directly to the stock picking's detailed operations.
