WhatsApp AI CRM Lead Connector
This module integrates WhatsApp with Odoo CRM using AI. When a message is received on WhatsApp, the AI analyzes the conversation and identifies genuine sales inquiries. If the message qualifies as a potential lead, the system automatically creates a lead in the CRM with the customer's details and conversation context, helping sales teams capture opportunities instantly.
Create an API Key in Groq
Go to https://groq.com
Sign in to your account.
Click âAPI Keysâ from the top navigation bar. This will open the API Keys dashboard.
Click the â+ Create API Keyâ button. A popup window titled âCreate API Keyâ will appear.
Enter Key Details Display Name: Enter a name (e.g., Whatsapp Crm App). Expiration: Choose No expiration, or Set an expiration date (recommended for security). Click Submit.
Your new API key will be generated. Copy the secret key immediately and store it securely.
Configure Groq API Key in Odoo CRM Settings
CRM -> Configuration -> Settings
Scroll down to the WhatsApp Llama Integration section.
In the Groq API Key field, paste the secret key you generated from Groq Console

Go to Discuss â WhatsApp Channel
When a customer sends a message on WhatsApp, the conversation will appear inside Odoo Discuss. The AI analyzes the incoming message and checks whether it is a genuine sales inquiry.
If the message is identified as a potential business inquiry, the system automatically creates a lead in the CRM module with the customer's information and message context.
The created lead will contain the customer's WhatsApp message and can be managed by the sales team inside the CRM pipeline.
