Payment Internal Transfers
This Odoo module restores the internal payment transfer feature that was removed in recent versions after Odoo 17. It brings back the familiar functionality for transferring funds internally between bank abd cash journals, enabling seamless and efficient internal accounting operations. Ideal for businesses that rely on precise control over internal financial movements, this module ensures continuity and ease of use.
Notes: This module is designed for companies that require a clear separation between customer/vendor payments and internal transfers. With this module, liquidity transfers are managed through a dedicated menu , ensuring better financial clarity and streamlined operations.

- Install the Module: Download and install the module via the Odoo Apps interface.
- Access the Internal Transfers Menu: Navigate to Invoicing/Accounting > Accounting
> Internal Transfers in your Odoo backend.

I configured the Outstanding Receipts and Outstanding Payments accounts on the Bank/Cash Journals using the journalâs main account. As a result, when an internal transfer is confirmed, its status is automatically set to Paid.

Alternatively, if you configure the Outstanding Receipts and Outstanding Payments accounts using separate outstanding accounts, the internal transfer status will be set to In Process upon confirmation. Once you reconcile the outstanding account with the journalâs main account, the status will then be updated to Paid.
- Create New Internal Transfer Click New, the Internal
Transfer checkbox will be checked by default and disabled. Specify the payment mode, enter the transfer amount, select transfer date ,and
select the source journal (e.g., Bank A) and the destination journal (e.g., Cash).

- Confirm the Transfer: Click Confirm to confirm the internal transfer transaction.
The system will automatically create the corresponding journal entries.
