Overview

This module adds a Manager PIN validation mechanism to Odoo Point of Sale. When a cashier attempts to add a restricted product to the cart, the system show popup for a Manager PIN. The product is added to the order only if the correct PIN is entered. This customization improves sales control and authorization for sensitive or restricted items.

Key Features

  • Restrict selected to POS products from being sold without authorization
  • Display a Text Input Popup when a restricted product is added
  • Show an Alert Dialog if the PIN is incorrect
  • Allow the product to be added to the cart only on successful validation
  • Manager PIN configurable from POS Config
