Configuration
- 1. Open Garage 360 Module
Get a real-time view of workshop activity, revenue, billing, stock alerts, and pending work from one dashboard.
Open Odoo → Garage 360, then use the company, branch, and date filters to review the required data.

- 2. Global Search
Find workshop records quickly without moving through multiple menus.
Open Global Search, select a record type, enter a keyword, and open the matching result.

Use the available filters to search customers, vehicles, job cards, invoices, payments, purchases, technicians, and more.

- 3. Create Job Card
Create one central record for the complete vehicle service process, from customer complaint to final delivery.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Job Cards, click New, select the customer and vehicle, assign the branch and technician, and record the service request.

- 4. Perform Vehicle Inspection
Standardize vehicle checks and clearly record defects before repair work begins.
Open the job card, click Start Inspection, review each checkpoint, and add remarks where required.

- 5. Add Labour and Services
Plan workshop effort, assign technicians, and calculate labour charges accurately.
Open the Labour tab, add the required services, and review technician, hours, quantity, price, and subtotal.

- 6. Add Spare Parts
Add required parts with pricing and live stock visibility to avoid service delays.
Open the Spare Parts tab, select the products and quantities, and review their availability status.

- 7. Approve and Start Work
Control repair authorization before work starts and keep the service process transparent.
Review the inspection, labour, parts, and delivery estimate, then click Send for Approval → Approve → Start Work.

- 8. Handle Missing Spare Parts
Identify shortages early and replenish missing parts directly from the job card.
Review Required Spare Parts, move the job to Waiting Parts when needed, and click Prepare Replenishment.

- 9. Purchase, Receive, and Complete Quality Check
Keep repairs moving by purchasing shortages and verifying service quality before delivery.
Confirm the generated purchase order and validate the receipt when parts arrive.

After repair, click Send to QC, verify the completed work, and mark the vehicle Ready Delivery.

- 10. Create or Open Quotation
Convert job card labour and spare parts into an accurate customer estimate without duplicate entry.
Click Create / Open Quotation from the job card and review the transferred lines.

Use Sync Job Card Lines before confirmation to include the latest workshop changes.

- 11. Confirm Sales Order and Create Invoice
Maintain complete traceability from approved service work to sales, stock delivery, and customer billing.
Review the quotation and click Confirm to create the sales order.

Validate the related delivery order for stockable spare parts.

Click Create Invoice, review the details, and post the invoice.

- 12. Register Payment and Deliver Vehicle
Track collections, outstanding balances, and vehicle delivery from the same connected workflow.
Open the posted invoice, click Register Payment, enter the payment details, and complete the vehicle delivery.

- 13. Configure Workshop Branches
Manage multiple workshop locations with separate operations, inventory, sales, purchases, and reporting.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Configuration → Branches and click New.

Enter the branch, manager, contact, warehouse, and stock location details, then save.

- 14. Configure Vehicle Masters
Standardize vehicle data for faster registration, accurate service history, and reliable reporting.
Open Garage 360 → Configuration to create the required vehicle masters.

Vehicle Make – Maintains a consistent manufacturer list across all vehicle records.
Navigate to Configuration → Vehicle Make, click New, enter the manufacturer, and save.

Vehicle Model – Organizes models under the correct manufacturer for accurate vehicle identification.
Navigate to Configuration → Vehicle Model, select the make, enter the model, and save.

Vehicle Variant – Distinguishes model versions to support correct service and spare-part selection.
Navigate to Configuration → Vehicle Variant, select the model, enter the variant, and save.

Vehicle Type – Groups vehicles for easier service planning, management, and analysis.
Navigate to Configuration → Vehicle Type, create the category, and save.

- 15. Configure Inspection Templates
Create consistent inspection standards so every vehicle is checked with the same quality process.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Configuration → Inspection Checklist, click New, add the checkpoints, and save.

- 16. Configure Labour Categories
Standardize labour pricing and expected hours to speed up job card preparation and billing.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Configuration → Labour Categories, click New, set the default hours, price, and service product, then save.

- 17. Configure Services
Build a ready-to-use service catalogue with standard hours and pricing for faster workshop processing.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Workshop → Services and click New.

Select the labour category and service product, set hours, price, and vehicle details, then save.

- 18. Configure Spare Parts
Maintain a central spare-parts catalogue with pricing, vendors, taxes, and real-time stock control.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Spare Parts, create or open a product, enter the sales, purchase, and inventory details, then save.

- 19. Configure Service Packages
Bundle common labour, parts, and inspections to deliver faster, consistent, and profitable services.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Workshop → Service Packages and click New.

Add labour, spare parts, inspections, and compatible vehicles, then save the package.

- 20. Register Customer
Maintain one customer profile linked to vehicles, service history, quotations, invoices, and payments.
Open Contacts or create the customer from a vehicle or job card, enter the contact and billing details, then save.

- 21. Register Vehicle
Create a complete digital vehicle record to track ownership, identification, odometer, and service history.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Vehicles, click New, select the owner, enter the vehicle details, and save.

Open Service History to review previous job cards and maintenance activity.

- 22. Reports and Analysis
Turn workshop data into clear operational, financial, inventory, and technician insights.
Navigate to Garage 360 → Reports and open the required analysis.

Executive Summary – Highlights key workshop, invoice, and revenue results.

Workshop Analysis – Monitors job card volume, stages, branches, advisors, and technicians.

Vehicle Service History – Reviews previous services, odometer readings, labour, and parts.

Revenue Analysis – Measures workshop income by period, branch, customer, and vehicle.

Parts Consumption – Identifies spare-part usage and demand trends.

Technician Productivity – Compares assignments, estimated hours, actual hours, and completed work.

- 23. Configure User Access Rights
Protect business data by giving each user access only to the workshop functions required for their role.
Navigate to Settings → Users & Companies → Users, open the user, assign the Garage 360 role, and save.
