What It Does

Reusable Profiles
Save the model, field mapping, filters and options once â then run the same import or export again with a single click.
CSV, Excel & JSON
Import from or export to all three formats. Excel files are read and written natively â no copy-paste, no conversion step.
Create, Update & Upsert
Upsert matches existing records by any field you choose as a key â not just the external ID â updating matches and creating the rest in one pass.
Find-or-Create Relations
Related records â countries, categories, partners â are matched by name automatically, and optionally created on the fly if they don't exist yet.
Per-Row Error Isolation
One bad row never aborts the run. Valid rows import; invalid ones are skipped and reported â so a 10,000-row file is never lost to a single typo.
Dry-Run Preview
Validate a file before committing anything. Preview reports how many rows would succeed or fail â and writes nothing to the database.
Run History & Error Reports
Every run is logged with row counts, status and a downloadable report of exactly which rows failed and why.
One-Click Templates
Generate a ready-to-fill blank file with the exact column headers for any profile â hand it to anyone, get clean data back.
Scheduled Exports by E-mail

How to Use
Install the Module
Install Import / Export Power Tools from Apps. An Import / Export menu appears in the main navigation.
Create a Profile
Go to Import / Export → Profiles, choose a direction (Import or Export), a target model and a file format.
Map the Fields
Click Load All Fields for an instant mapping, or add field lines by hand. Set column names and mark any field as a key for Upsert matching.
Import or Export
For imports, upload your file and hit Preview to validate, then Run Import. For exports, use Download Template or Run Export to get your file instantly.
Review & Schedule
Open Run History to review results and download error reports. Tick Scheduled on an export profile to have the file e-mailed automatically.
