Configuration
- 1. Go to Inventory Settings
Open the Inventory app, then go to Configuration → Settings from the top menu.
- 2. Configure Target Time Per Order
Scroll down to the Inventory Performance KPIs section. Enter the Target Time Per Order in days and click Save. This value is used to calculate Cycle Performance % and draws the target reference line on the Cycle Time chart.
- 3. Open the Inventory Performance Dashboard
Go back to the Odoo home screen and click the Inventory Dashboard app icon to open the dashboard.
- 4. Dashboard Overview
The dashboard loads automatically based on completed outgoing deliveries for the active company. When multiple companies are enabled in your session, the dashboard displays a company wise grouped overview each company shows its aggregated KPIs, and each warehouse appears as an individual card with a GOOD, WARNING, or CRITICAL status badge based on how the average cycle time compares to the configured target.
- 5. Click Warehouse Card — Warehouse Detail View
Clicking any warehouse card opens a dedicated detail view for that warehouse. It displays the full set of KPIs scoped to that warehouse only, along with the KPI Trend chart for the last 6 months and the Avg Cycle Time vs Target bar chart. The Recent Deliveries table at the bottom shows the latest completed deliveries for that specific warehouse. A Back button at the top returns you to the main overview.
- 6. Apply Warehouse and Date Filters
Use the Warehouse dropdown to select one or more warehouses. Set Start Date and End Date to define a custom period. All KPIs, charts, and the Recent Deliveries table refresh automatically, no button click needed. The Target / Order badge always shows the configured target days.
The Search Reference bar on the Warehouse Detail page allows you to instantly filter the Recent Deliveries table by typing any part of a Delivery Reference (e.g., WH/OUT/00048) or a Carrier Tracking Reference. Results update in real time, no button click required. Clear the field to return to the full delivery list.
- 7. KPI Cards — Performance at a Glance
Five color coded KPI cards update based on active filters: Green ≥ 90%, Yellow ≥ 70%, Red < 70%.
🎯 Picking Accuracy — Shows how many deliveries were completed without any return. If a delivery is returned by the customer, it is counted as inaccurate. Click this card to open the filtered delivery list.
⏱ Avg Order Cycle Time — Shows the average number of days it takes to complete a delivery from the scheduled date. Helps identify how fast or slow your warehouse is fulfilling orders.
📈 Cycle Performance — Shows how well your team is meeting the configured target time. If orders are completed within the target days, performance is high. If orders take longer than the target, performance drops.
📦 Inventory Accuracy — Shows how many deliveries were completed fully without creating a backorder. If a delivery is partially done and a backorder is created, it is counted as inaccurate.
🚚 On-Time Dispatch — Shows how many deliveries were dispatched on or before the scheduled date. If a delivery is done after the scheduled date, it is counted as late.
- 8. KPI Trend Chart (Last 6 Months)
The KPI Trend line chart displays monthly values for Picking Accuracy, On-Time Dispatch, and Inventory Accuracy over the last 6 months. It updates dynamically when any filter is changed.
- 9. Avg Cycle Time vs Target Chart
The Cycle Time bar chart shows average order cycle time per month. Bars are green when on or below target and red when over target. A dashed line marks the configured target days. Click any monthly bar to open the filtered delivery list for that month.
- 10. Recent Deliveries Table
The Recent Deliveries table shows the latest 10 completed deliveries for the active filters. Columns: Reference, Partner, Salesperson, Warehouse, Scheduled, Done, Stage, On-Time (✓ / ✗), and Backorder (Yes / No).
- 11. Search Deliveries by Reference or Carrier Tracking Reference
The Warehouse Detail page includes a Search Reference bar above the Recent Deliveries table.
Type any part of a Delivery Reference (e.g., WH/OUT/00048) or a Carrier Tracking Reference
to instantly filter the Recent Deliveries table to matching records.
The search is applied in real time, no button click is required.
