How does Excel paste work?
Copy tab-separated rows from Excel or Google Sheets, click inside the form, and press Ctrl+V. The Paste button shows a hint — the actual shortcut is Ctrl+V.
Can I paste products by internal reference?
Yes. Values such as [E-COM06] Corner Desk Right Sit are resolved by display name and internal reference. On Sales Order lines the correct product variant is set automatically.
What are the module dependencies?

Overview
x2many Power Pack adds spreadsheet-style productivity tools to editable one2many and many2many list fields inside Odoo 19 form views. Paste rows from Excel, duplicate selected lines, toggle footer sum totals, and manage column order — without custom development.
Installation
- Copy the x2many_power folder into your Odoo addons path.
- Update the apps list and install x2many Power Pack.
- Open any form with an editable x2many list (e.g. Sales → Orders → Quotations).
Configuration
No server-side configuration is required. All preferences are stored in the browser:
- Totals toggle — saved per model, field, and view mode (localStorage).
- Column order — saved per embedded list view key (localStorage).
- Column visibility — uses Odoo's native optional-columns gear; Columns reset clears both visibility and order preferences immediately.
Usage
Toolbar
On editable x2many list sub-views, a toolbar appears directly above the lines grid with four buttons: Totals, Duplicate, Paste, and Columns. The toolbar is not shown on readonly forms or kanban sub-views.
Excel Paste
- In Excel or Google Sheets, copy one or more rows (tab-separated).
- Open a draft form with editable order lines (e.g. Sales Order).
- Click inside the form near the lines grid and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac).
- If the first clipboard row matches column headers, mapping is automatic.
- Without headers, product / quantity / price cells are mapped intelligently.
- Product values such as [E-COM06] Corner Desk Right Sit are resolved by name or internal reference.
- A success notification shows how many lines were created.
Supported field types: text/char, integer, float, monetary, boolean, selection, many2one (name and internal-reference lookup).
Duplicate Lines
- On an editable x2many list, select one or more lines using the checkboxes.
- Click Duplicate in the toolbar.
- Selected lines are cloned at the bottom of the list.
Footer Totals
- Click Totals in the toolbar to enable sum footers.
- Integer, float, and monetary columns show a sum row automatically.
- Click Totals again to hide footers. The preference is remembered.
Column Manager
- Drag a column header left or right to reorder columns (embedded lists only).
- Use Odoo's native gear icon to show or hide optional columns.
- Click Columns in the toolbar to reset saved order and visibility instantly.
