Custom Popup Window
by Gloria Dei Labs https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/browse?author=Gloria%20Dei%20Labs$ 2.99
Give every popup room to work.
Open selectors, lists, and form wizards in a wider, taller workspace. Custom Popup Window reduces cramped columns and unnecessary scrolling while keeping Odoo's native dialog behavior intact.
See more without changing how Odoo works.
The module changes the dialog footprint, not the workflow inside it. Native lists, fields, buttons, and close actions stay exactly where users expect them.
Room for dense lists
Display more columns and rows in customer selectors, search dialogs, and list-heavy popups.
Native modal behavior
Keep Odoo's standard content, footer actions, scrolling, and close controls without replacement components.
Install and use
No per-model settings are required. Compatible backend dialogs expand automatically after installation.
Use the screen you already have.
A wider modal reveals more information at once and reduces the need to squeeze fields or scroll through a narrow work area.
More rows. More context. Fewer interruptions.
The expanded customer selector keeps names, contact details, locations, and tags visible in one practical workspace.
A small change with immediate reach.
Custom Popup Window adds one lightweight backend style asset. It does not add models, menus, configuration records, or replacement widgets.

Custom Popup Window
Custom Popup Window gives standard Odoo backend dialogs a larger working area. It is designed for record selectors, list-heavy popups, and form wizards where the default modal width can make information feel compressed.
Core Behavior
- Expands compatible modal dialogs to 94 percent of the available width.
- Uses 92 percent of the available height for a roomier workspace.
- Preserves Odoo's native modal content, buttons, and close behavior.
- Applies automatically without model-specific configuration.
Installation and Use
- Install Custom Popup Window from Apps.
- Refresh browser assets if the Odoo session was already open.
- Open a backend selector, wizard, or other compatible modal dialog.
Requirements and Compatibility
The module depends on web and is designed for Odoo 19 backend dialogs.
