A POS Access Rights tab on every employee
Tick exactly which sensitive actions a cashier may not use, and limit them to selected payment methods. Employees with the POS Manager or Administrator role always bypass the rules.
Restricted controls greyed out in the POS
When the cashier logs in, restricted buttons - Customer, Qty, Discount, Price and +/- - are disabled in the interface and blocked in the flow as a safety net.
No deleting orders mid-sale
The Cancel / Delete Order action is greyed out in the POS Actions menu, so a restricted cashier cannot wipe an in-progress ticket to hide a sale.
Refunds only for staff you trust
The Refund action is disabled for restricted cashiers and the refund flow is blocked as a safety net - only authorised staff can reverse a completed sale.
Limit the tender types per cashier
On the payment screen a restricted cashier sees only the payment methods you allowed - every other tender type is hidden from view.

The Problem
Out of the box, every cashier can do everything: change prices, hand out discounts, edit quantities, refund orders, delete tickets and switch payment methods. That opens the door to shrinkage, costly mistakes and zero accountability - and locking it down usually means custom code or removing buttons for everyone.

A POS Access Rights section on every employee lets you tick exactly which actions that cashier may use. Restricted controls are greyed out right inside the POS and the underlying action is blocked as a safety net. Managers and administrators always bypass the rules, so supervisors are never locked out.
What You Can Restrict, Per Employee
Eight sensitive Point of Sale controls - switch each one on or off for every cashier.

Stop cashiers from flipping a line negative on the numpad.
Quantity Changes
Disable the Qty button so order quantities cannot be edited.
Price Change
Lock the unit price so only authorised staff can override it.
