Quick and easy configuration to go live

1	Company Setup Set company country to Saudi Arabia and fill in VAT number and full address details.
2	Enable ZATCA E-Invoicing Go to Settings > Accounting > ZATCA E-Invoicing to select Phase and API mode.
3	Journal Onboarding For Phase 2, open a Sales journal and click Request CCSID to start onboarding.
4	Start Invoicing Create and post invoices - ZATCA submission happens automatically on confirmation.

Requirement	Detail
Odoo version	19 Community Edition
Python package	cryptography (already a standard Odoo dependency)
ZATCA Fatoora portal	Account needed only for Phase 2 (to generate onboarding OTP)
Company VAT	15-digit Saudi VAT number (starts and ends with 3)
Company address	Must include Building Number

⚙️ Configuration Steps

Copy the module into your Odoo addons path → update app list → install ZATCA E-Invoicing
Set company country to Saudi Arabia and fill VAT number + address details
Go to Settings → Accounting → ZATCA E-Invoicing → choose Phase 1 or Phase 2 and API Mode (Sandbox / Simulation / Production)
Phase 2 only: Open your Sales journal → click Request CCSID to complete the Fatoora onboarding using the OTP from your ZATCA portal
📊 Success Rate / Status Tracking
Each invoice gets a live ZATCA Status field:

Status	Meaning
N/A	Not a Saudi invoice
Not Sent	Confirmed but not yet submitted (Phase 1)
Accepted	Cleared/Reported successfully by ZATCA
Accepted (Warnings)	Accepted with minor non-blocking warnings
Rejected	ZATCA rejected — reason shown in chatter

🟢 Is it a simple process?

- Phase 1: Yes — install, configure company details, done. QR code appears on every invoice automatically.
- Phase 2: Slightly more involved (requires Fatoora portal OTP for each journal), but the onboarding wizard guides you step by step. It typically takes 15–30 minutes per journal to go live.

Sandbox and Simulation modes are available so you can test everything before going to Production. Once in Production mode, the mode cannot be downgraded (ZATCA requirement).
