Dynamic Alerts
Dynamic Alerts is a powerful notification and monitoring system designed to help organizations track important records and trigger alerts dynamically across Odoo modules. Instead of relying on fixed notifications, this application allows administrators to define customizable alert types and set conditions based on domains to control when and where alerts appear. Users first create Alert Types by defining a name, urgency level (Low, Medium, High, Critical), and selecting background and text colors for clear visual identification. After defining alert types, users configure Alert Rules by selecting the target model, applying domain filters, and adding custom alert messages. The system uses scheduled actions (cron jobs) to evaluate the configured rules and automatically display alerts for matching records. Alerts can be restricted to specific user groups, ensuring that only relevant users see them. Additionally, users can enable activity creation to trigger follow-up tasks directly from alerts. A dedicated dashboard provides a centralized overview of active alerts, helping teams quickly monitor priority issues and take action efficiently.
Alert Type Management
The module allows users to create and manage different alert types based on business requirements. Each alert type can be configured with a unique name, urgency level such as low, medium, high, or critical, and customized visual styling including background and text colors.
