The Receipts card shows a monthly bar chart of completed vs pending incoming shipments, a 7-day sparkline trend, status counters (Waiting, Pending, Completed, Late), and a table of recent receipts with partner and status.
Internal Transfers card displays a circular progress indicator showing the completion percentage of internal moves, along with operation stats and a list of recent transfer records.
Delivery Orders card features a combined bar and line chart orange bars for pending deliveries and a teal line for completed trend over the selected date range.
The top KPI bar aggregates counts across all visible cards: Waiting (confirmed), Pending (assigned), Completed (done), Late (past scheduled date), and Total Transfers for the filtered period.
Filter panel with custom date from/to pickers and quick preset buttons: 7 Days, 30 Days, 3 Months, 6 Months, and YTD. Click Apply to refresh the dashboard with the selected date range.
Multi-select dropdowns for warehouses and internal/transit locations. When warehouses are selected, the location list automatically narrows to matching locations.
Toggle Receipts, Internal Transfers, and Delivery Orders pills to show or hide operation cards. The dashboard reloads instantly when you click a pill no Apply button needed for operations.
When multiple warehouses exist, each warehouse gets its own section header with a dedicated row of three operation cards. Filter to a single warehouse to see one section only.
Each card lists recent pickings with transfer name, partner, date, operations count, and color-coded status badges. Late pickings are highlighted. When no data matches filters, a friendly empty state with a Reset Filters button is shown.
Quick Setup Guide
Get your Inventory Dashboard running in three simple steps
Install the Module
Go to Apps, search for Inventory Dashboard, and click Install. Requires the standard Inventory (stock) module only.
Configure Warehouses
Ensure your warehouses have operation types configured (Receipts, Internal Transfers, Delivery Orders). These are created automatically when a warehouse is set up in Odoo.
Open the Dashboard
Navigate to Inventory → Dashboard. Use filters to narrow by date, warehouse, location, or operation type. Click Refresh to reload live data.
Prerequisites
- Odoo 19.0 Community or Enterprise both editions fully supported
- Inventory (stock) module installed
- At least one warehouse with incoming, internal, and outgoing operation types
- Stock pickings (receipts, transfers, deliveries) for data to appear on cards
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the Inventory Dashboard
Which Odoo version and edition is supported?
Built for Odoo 19.0 on both Community and Enterprise. Depends only on the standard Inventory (stock) module.
Do operation filters apply instantly?
Yes. Clicking Receipts, Internal Transfers, or Delivery Orders pills reloads the dashboard immediately. Date, warehouse, and location filters still use the Apply button.
Why is my dashboard empty?
Check that warehouses exist, operation types are configured, and pickings fall within your selected date range. Try clicking Reset Filters or widening the date preset to 6 Months.
How are "Late" transfers calculated?
A transfer is marked late if its scheduled date is before today and it is not yet done or cancelled, or if Odoo's has_deadline_issue flag is set.
Can I open a picking from the dashboard?
Yes. Each card's recent pickings table is clickable select a row to open the transfer form directly in Odoo.
Is an external service required?
No. All data comes from your Odoo database. Charts use Odoo's built-in Chart.js bundle. No API keys or subscriptions needed.
