Overview

• Create Product, add cost price and sale price.

• Create a bills of material.

• Select product in sale order line which we have configured bills of materials.

• It will give you the price of product selected in sale order line based on the "Product Cost Type".

• "Product Cost Type" has two options. 1. By Bills of Materials and 2. By Procuct Standard Price.

• It has default value set as "By Bills of Materials" and it will calculate based on bills of materials component cost price up to 2 level BoM.

• With option, "By Procuct Standard Price" it will fetch cost price of product.

• "Product Cost Price" will be updated based on "Product Cost Type".

Create Product

In "Sales > Catalog > Product" Create Product, add cost price and sale price.

Create Bills of Materials

In "Manufacturing > Master Data > Bills of Materials" create a bills of materials for product. In "Component" tab add products..

Select Product Cost Type - By Bills of Materials

Select "Product Cost Type". Which has two options 1. By Bills of Materials and 2. By Procuct Standard Price. -"By Bills of Materials" and it will calculate based on bills of materials component cost price up to 2 level BoM.

Select Product Cost Type - By Procuct Standard Price

With option, "By Procuct Standard Price" it will fetch cost price of product.
