POS Barcode Scanning
Problem with existing barcode scanning
- For weight or price barcode scanning, barcode field of product should have prefix as 21 or 23 followed by product code followed by as many zeroes as weight or price value. For eg.- If product barcode is 100001, then it has to be replaced by 2110000100000 in order to make weight/price barcode scanning work. Ideally, the barcode field should store only product code and barcode scanning logic should scan appropiately based on regular expression configured in barcode nomenclature.
- 2D barcode scanning is not supported where we can have combination of weight and price barcode.
This module supports above functionalities
Barcode Nomenclature Configuration
Weight barcode have prefix of 21 followed by six digits product code followed by 2 integer digits and then 3 decimal digits. Also, any type of encoding is expected
Price barcode have prefix of 23 followed by six digits product code followed by 3 integer digits and then 2 decimal digits. Also, any type of encoding is expected
