Tile App Menu brings the polished, Enterprise-style tile launcher to Odoo 11 Community. Replace the default app list drop-down with a full-page searchable grid of app tiles — the same visual experience Enterprise users are used to, available on every edition.
Key Features
Full-Page Tile Launcher
A dedicated client action shows all installed apps as large icon-and-label tiles. Replaces the default dropdown with a clean, full-screen grid.
Instant Search
A built-in search bar filters tiles in real time — no page reload, no extra clicks. Ideal for users who have many apps installed.
Desktop Navbar Menu
The grid icon in the top navbar opens either a full-page launcher or a popover with tiles — configurable per deployment in Settings.
Mobile Support
The burger-menu "All apps" link can open the full-page launcher or keep the default sidebar tile grid. Both options are available in Settings.
User Home Action
Set the tile launcher as a user's Home action so they land directly on the app grid after login — no configuration per-user required in most deployments.
Zero Business-Model Footprint
No new database tables. A thin ir.http layer injects settings into
session_info; everything else is pure Qweb / JS / LESS on the frontend.
