Elixir Backend Theme

Elixir Backend Theme is a Odoo extended module which is used to change Odoo theme (User Interface). It provides a modern and clean look and feel, improving the user experience.

Installation

To install this, follow below setps:

  • Just simply mount this module as Odoo's custom module
  • Now, Install the module in Odoo from Main Apps section.

Usage

How to use this module:

  • Go to Any App
  • Navigate to any app within Odoo.
  • On the right side of the apps, you will see a list of menus.

  • To collapse the menus, click on the toggle icon located at the top right of the sidebar. This will hide the menu items and only show the icons.

  • To Expand the menus, click on the toggle icon located at the top right of the sidebar. This will show the menu items.

  • It's essential to have serial numbers displayed in list views for better organization and identification of records. This module introduces the capability to automatically assign and display serial numbers to records in list views within your Odoo instance.

  • The global search bar has been enhanced to provide quick access to various components of the application:

    1. Menu Search ("/"): Typing "/" in the global search bar initiates a search across all menus within Odoo. This feature enables users to quickly locate and navigate to specific menu items without manually navigating through the menu structure.

    2. User Search ("@"): By typing "@" in the global search bar, users can initiate a search across all user profiles. This is particularly useful for quickly finding and accessing user profiles, making communication and collaboration more efficient.

    3. Channel Search ("#"): Typing "#" in the global search bar allows users to search for and access channels within the application. Channels are often used for group communication and collaboration, and this feature streamlines the process of finding the right channel.

    These enhancements simplify and expedite the search process within Odoo, improving overall user productivity and ease of navigation.
