Aurora Night turns the Odoo 18 Community backend into a modern dark console: a deep slate palette (inspired by shadcn/DaisyUI design systems), a vertical navigation sidebar on the left, rounded cards and a fully redesigned login page.
Features
- ð Dark mode by default, per-user toggle in the user menu (persisted across devices via the user preference).
- ð Left sidebar navigation: current app menus as a vertical list, systray docked at the bottom.
- ð·ï¸ White-label: your company name in the sidebar, the browser tab and the login page. odoo.com links removed from the user menu.
- ð¨ Rounded cards, kanban hover states, clean list views, subtle scrollbars â consistent 0.5rem radius everywhere.
- ð Community only â no Enterprise, no Studio, no external dependency. Works alongside OCA web_responsive if installed.
Install
- Add the module to your addons path.
- Install Aurora Night â Dark Backend Theme.
- Hard-refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R). Done.
Licensed under LGPL-3. All Odoo core files are overridden from this module â nothing is modified in the standard codebase.
