Good looking, just not for me. Icons missing on uninstall!

I tried the theme and it is quite good looking. However, the overall layout changes with the side menu etc. are just not for me, so I removed the module again. Unfortunately, all my icons on the main menu are blank now. I already tried to regenerate assets. Any tips?

All of the current icons will be replaced with theme icons upon installation of the backend theme, leaving the icons empty upon uninstalling. Just upgrade the 'base' module to renew all the assets.
