Vibrant Navbar Hover Effects
A pure-CSS visual upgrade for the Odoo backend top menu
This module gives the Odoo backend navigation bar a lively, modern feel: animated gradient text on hover, a glowing pill behind each menu item, a real 3D flip when dropdowns open, cascading dropdown items, a confetti burst on click, and a distinct "open" look that stays on while a menu is expanded. Everything is CSS only — no Python models, views, or data are touched, so it installs safely alongside any other app.
Key Features
Animated Gradient Menus
Top-level menu labels bounce in and run a live color gradient while hovered.
3D Flip Dropdowns
Dropdown panels open with a real 3D flip animation instead of a plain fade/slide.
Confetti on Click
Clicking a menu item fires a colorful confetti burst plus a satisfying jelly-squish.
Spotlight Focus
Hovering one menu gently dims its siblings so your eye stays on the active item.
Cascading Sub-items
Dropdown items fade and slide in with a staggered cascade for a polished open.
Persistent Open State
An open dropdown keeps its own distinct glow, separate from the hover effect.
Per-item Color Identity
Each menu cycles through a 6-color accent palette for easy visual grouping.
Zero Configuration
Just install the app — the styling applies automatically, nothing to set up.
