Pine Backend Theme (Community Edition)
Pine Backend Theme (Community Edition) is an Odoo Community backend theme that refreshes the user experience with a calmer navigation layout, configurable branding options, refined authentication pages, and a redesigned home workspace that supports daily operations without adding noise.
Features
The module includes:
- Custom sidebar and topbar styling with navbar dark-mode toggle
- Full light and dark mode across backend, forms, lists, dialogs, and chatter
- Branded login and reset password pages
- Configurable company imagery, color presets, and theme settings import/export
- Redesigned home workspace with hero section, metrics, and role-aware shortcuts
- Multilingual home workspace (Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Chinese)
- Spreadsheet dashboard dark-mode styling
- User-level dialog and chatter preferences
- Local assets and bundled fonts for an offline-ready experience
Installation
To install this module:
- Copy the module into your custom addons path
- Restart the Odoo server
- Update the Apps list from Odoo
- Install Pine Backend Theme (Community Edition)
Configuration
After installation, open the Settings app to configure:
- Sidebar and topbar colors
- Company branding images
- Home page content and hero section
- Login and authentication page appearance
- Dialog and chatter behavior
- Light and dark mode appearance
Localization
The home workspace strings are translated through standard Odoo i18n files in pine_backend_theme/i18n/. After updating translations, upgrade the module with overwrite enabled and restart the server so JavaScript strings reload:
./odoo-bin -c odoo.conf -d YOUR_DB -u pine_backend_theme --i18n-overwrite
Usage
Once installed, Pine applies its backend styling across the main web client, including the navigation layout, home page, authentication screens, spreadsheet dashboards, and selected view-level interface elements.

Pre_Purchase Question...
Hi, I’m interested in purchasing this theme, but I have two questions before moving forward:
Thanks in advance. I’d appreciate your clarification before proceeding with the purchase.
Pre_Purchase Question...
Yes, we offer an Odoo 18 Community version. It was recently unpublished to address some bugs and will be republished shortly, likely within a day or two.
Regarding your second question, after purchase you will be able to download a ZIP file containing the full source code. There is no obfuscation, the code is completely accessible and can be modified to your liking.
