Project Checklist Module
Note:
- This module will work on enterprise and community both.
As a business manager, we have a varied job involving multiple stakeholders. To manage every task seamlessly, Odoo Projects is of great help.
With Project Checklist module,you can customize the project module for creating checklistâs. These checklistâs can be assigned to any stage id in task.
After assigning the checklist, one cannot transfer from one stage to another without completing these checklistâs. Assigning checklist can be of great help to get step by step progress/completion of any task.

- Assign stages according to the project

- Shows the progress at each stage with progressbar
- Keeps a check on stage transition
Checklist Configuration
Navigate to the user and activate the Checklist feature. It is now ready to use.
Checklists
A sub-menu in configuration menu is added named Checklist. Now Open Configuration Menu and select Checklist.
Creating Checklists
Now Create the checklistâs you want in your task. You can create as many checklist as you want.
Multiple checklistâs can be generated for a single stage without any chances of duplicacy of checklistâs.
Project-wise and Stage-wise assigning of Checklist
You can assign these checklists to any stage you want. Stages are listed according to the Project.
Now go to the task created earlier and checkout the Checklist page of the task. Youâll see your Checklistâs assigned to each and every stage.
No stage transition without completion of checklist at present stage.
Try to move to the next stage, i.e., TO DO to IN PROGRESS, Itâll raise an error that all checklistâs are not done.
You have to complete all the checklistâs,i.e, have to make them true to proceed to next stage.
Stage wise task Progress
Progress Bar to depict how much percentage of task is completed. Very helpful in keeping a check on the task.
After completing all the Checklist, the progress bar becomes 100%.
Stage doesnât progress even if there is a single checklist unticked.
Automatic Updation of Checklist
Checklist automatically getâs updated after transition to new stage.
