Flexible Units of Measure for Products
Easily configure multiple units of measure for each product, allowing only the necessary UOMs for customers to choose from on your website when placing orders.
In the Product Template under the Sales tab, you can set the Website Product UOMs for a specific product. These units of measure will then be available on the website for customers to choose from when placing an order.
Let Customers Choose How They Buy
On your website, customers can view products and seamlessly select their preferred unit of measure at checkout for a personalized buying experience.
Based on the product configuration in the backend for website UOM, a Unit of Measure (UOM) selection option will be visible on the product page of the website.
Upon selecting a Unit of Measure (UOM), the product price will automatically update, and the stock availability message will adjust accordingly.
In the website cart, if you add the same product with different Units of Measure (UOMs), each entry will appear as a separate item based on its UOM. You can also easily change the UOM of any cart item directly within the cart interface.
After an order is placed, the back office can easily track the selected Units of Measure (UOMs) for each item in the sales order and proceed seamlessly with the standard Odoo workflow.
