Nibbana for Teams documentation

Core concepts

Nibbana for Teams is an extension of Nibbana personal project and task manager that allows team members to share their projects and tasks among them. Features:

  • Manage Projects view to separate managed projects from Your executed projects.
  • Manage Tasks view to keep track on delegated tasks.
  • Unified List of all active projects and tasks in actable stage.
  • Sequential Actions view to give your a team epicenter view.

Description

New notebook page Team is added to Project and Task views.

Project now has a perticipants list. All members included in this list will see this project in their Organize -> Project view.

Also project has a managers list. Team members from this list now can see this project from their Manager -> Projects view.

So Nibbana for Teams introduces a strong sepration of acting and managing.

Tasks also got a Team page. Members from Assigned list see such tasks in their Tasks view. People from Menagers list see this task in their Manage Tasks view.

Project permissions

You can see projects where You are a participant. If you open project form view You will see all project tasks You have access to.

If You are project participant You can change all project attributes but you cannot delete the project. Only project owner (creator) can delete the project. Actually it is not supposed to delete projects instead projects are automatically archived when done or cancelled.

Project participants cannot change project team members. Only project managers or owners can do it.

Task persmissions

Here You can see tasks that are assigned to you. Not all tasks that You have access are visible here but only those You are in assigned list. All projects tasks (not only those your are assigned) are accessible from project's form view.

FAQ

I am assigned a task and I can see it in Tasks view but I do not see it in my Epicenter view.

If You are going to be assigned tasks in a shared project make sure You are included in Project's participants list.
