Starting from 1st January 2026 all documents issued in Angola should make reference to an existing Customer NIF on the national SIFP database. Additionally, companies can issue documents using a special NIF '999999999', but this NIF has limited applicability and can not be used for companies. 1. Features This module works with SIFT API for VAT/NIF Consultation (included on purchase) and it is an extension for the point of sale module which is included with this module: - NIF will be validated on create/edit customer in point of sale; - Validation is performed when customer is created/edited in the backend so internet/network connection is required; - Point of Sale will not allow to validate any sale for customers with a non verified NIF (in this case you should use special NIF 999999999); - Existing customers with non verified NIF should be verified in the backend (Check NIF button on customer form); 3. Setup the module Afer installing the module you will see the point of sale option under Settings > General Settings > Integrations:  4. Other info In order to disable module for poin of sale, you need to un-check option under Settings > General Settings > Integrations. (differently from the main module, a wrong endpoint will not work for the point of sale and will return connection errors) - Under customer list in POS, you will see customers in yellow which means VAT have not been verified, and thus, you will not be able to validate orders for these customers; - Since there is not "Check NIF" button in point of sale, if you need to verify a NIF you have to do it in the backend (usually for existing databases); Module have been tested on core odoo with no custom modules installed so, there's no garantee it should work with other custom modules |
